Pattern Description:

Designed by Melissa LaBarre, and knit out of Peridot, a vibrant color of Road to China Light, this hat begins with a classic 1 x 1 rib that transforms into a beautiful leaf lace panel pattern after a round of increases for the body of the slightly slouchy tam. The decreases at the top form an integrated star motif.

Gauge:

24 sts + 32 rows = 4" in StSt on 4 mm needles after blocking.
27 sts + 32 rows = 4" in Lace Pattern on 4 mm needles after blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

10.5" dia, 7.5" height + 16" brim circ, unstretched.

Materials:

The Fibre Company Road to China Light, 65% Baby Alpaca, 15% Silk, 10% Camel + 10% Cashmere. 159 yds/50 gms per skein. 1 skein. Shown in Peridot
