Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should be able to work in the round following a chart and be prepared to work with two colours at a time.

Pattern Description:

These are the socks for your inner gypsy. They are bright, cheerful, warm and comfortable for cool nights around the campfire. They combine a simple lace pattern with an uncomplicated Fair Isle design. The frill can be omitted if you prefer but they are more fun with it.

The yarn used here, Renaissance Dyeing's Troubadour is a naturally dyed organic yarn that really glows.


28 stitches and 38 rows = 4"/10cm using 2.75mm/size 12 needles measured
over plain smooth fabric
