Pattern Description:

You get 2 different patterns in 2 different size options each...totaling 4 options in 1 pattern!

Color brioche knitting looks more challenging than it appears, but don't let it intimidate or fool you. You'll be surprised at how easy it actually is and get fantastic results to boot! No matter which cowl you choose to make, both are good introductory projects into brioche knitting and are wonderful additions to your accessories wardrobe, or that of a loved one.

Friday Harbor uses a basic 2-color brioche knitting technique. It is worked in the round in a looser gauge and is fairly easy really!

If you like Friday Harbor, also check out its sister pattern in a different brioche stitch, Anacortes. In photos, Anacortes is the shorter cowl on the Asian model.

(Sample shown worked in Extra Long using 1 skein each of The Fibre Company Road to China Worsted (65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere; 69yds/50g); Colors: Citrine (A), Sapphire (B), Ruby (C) & Periodot (D).)
