Basic Skills Necessary:
- You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, knit two stitches together, cast off, seam the finished work and knit in ends of the finished work - skill level beginner. A hat, for an average skilled knitter, should take approximately four hours to complete.
This beautiful little baby cap is knit in a thick garter stitch with boucle yarn to keep tiny ears toasty. Knit with two needles and thick yarn, the cap is finished in no time at all. The special little animal ears add such a special touch. Based on a classic French baby cap, the pattern was created by a knitwear designer in Lyon, France.
