This fitted beanie is a perfect gift for any child and boy or girl. Fox or wolf - both included in the pattern. Make your choice and have fun!


18 sts and 26 rows = 4"/10 cm using US 6 (4 mm) needles in St st after blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Brim circumference: 16 1/4 - 18 1/8 -19 1/4 -20 1/8" (41-46-49-51 cm)
  • Height: 6 3/4 - 7 1/8 - 7 1/2 - 7 7/8 " (17-18-19-20 cm)


  • Phildar Givre (approx 102 yds/93 m 50 gr) -50% Wool, 20% Alpaca, 20% Nylon, 10% Acrylic or any aran weight yarn that will knit to gauge
  • Main color - 67-77-87-100 yds /61-71-80-90 m
  • Contrasting color - 22-22-22-25 yds /20-20-20-22 m

You Will Also Need:

  • US 4 (3.5 mm) 16" (40cm) circular needles
  • US 6 (4mm) 16" (40cm) circular needles or size needed to get gauge
  • spare needle
  • double-pointed needles
  • Stitch marker for beginning of round
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  • 3 buttons 1/2 " (1.5 cm) diameter
