I have made these before, and they turn out really cute. I love adding the fortunes and take out box also, however, I'd like to make them using a bit lighter weight yarn, (3) instead of (4) worsted, but there is no gauge on the pattern. Can you please tell me what the gauge should be so I can figure out what size needles to use. Thanks!
Would it be possible to upload a picture of what the booties should look like just after sewing cast on edge to bind off edge? I saw your answer to a previous question regarding "Turn cast on edge a half turn..." But I think my disconnect is I'm looking at the pictures to see if I've done it correctly, but the pictures already have the sole and are fully completed. Thank you for your help =)
I'm afraid I do not have tutorial photos for this pattern. If you are still struggling, why don't you send me an email with a photo of where you are in the process...firstname.lastname@example.org
I have found the pattern details for these forgeous slippers BUT I can't seem to find the pattern. Like how many to cast on etc....... Help me pleaseeeeee
Just click on the photo of them on the right!
I am having difficulty understanding how to complete this step: "Turn cast on edge a half turn and sew to bind off edge..." Looked on youtube, no video. Asked a knitter friend, she wasn't able to help. Help please.
You are sewing the cast on edge to the bind off edge. Lay it out flat, now bring one edge up, turn it and place it down on the other edge. I hope this helps.
where is this pattern? cannot find it....went all over the site and nothing to be found...thanks
If you click on the photo of the booties, it should take you to the download page. If you would rather, send me an email and I'll get it to you...szachariae at yahoo dot com
How come I can't get the pattern instructions??
The booties are very cute, and look extremely easy, but the instructions don't tell how many stitches to cast on, or how long to make the piece that needs to be sewn together.
Hum. I'm not sure what you are referring to. The pattern does, indeed, give all that information. Am I note understanding your note?
sooooo cute!! can't wait to get knitting!

What a wonderful pattern! Thank you so much for sharing. These will be a novel addition to an upcoming baby shower gift.
Debby, thank you for the note and kind words. You will be the most popular guest at the shower!
I have this pattern and they are so cute. I must confess I still haven't sewn them up. The pattern was so easy and quick.
Sewing up is my least favorite part too! When you do finish them, be sure to post it on your projects page!
Glad it all worked out! Be sure to take a picture and post it for all to see!
Hi, I've just downloaded this pattern and it's given me it in a load of gibberish!! The list of fortune cookies is in english and so is the page of finishing instructions, but the actual pattern is a page of mixed symbols and letters. Help! I so wanted to knit these before Christmas
Hi, Just downloaded it again and this time I got it in english. I can get knitting now for my daughters friends baby due anyday. Thanks for the free patterns they are much appreciated.
