Intermediate
This triangular shawl is more textured than airy, and is bordered with a deep fluted ruffle. Wet block it as far as it will let you for more drape (shown) or steam block it lightly for a cushier and denser shawl. This is my favorite sized shawl. It can be wrapped around the neck and tucked into a jacket when you are out in the elements, then unfurled, to gracefully adorn your shoulders, once you are inside. Worked in Tern, the wool makes it sturdy and durable while the silk makes it graceful and refined. A real workhorse of a shawl, all around.
18 sts x 26 rows over 4" / 10cm in Stockinette stitch after
blocking
Note: gauge is approximated here and is not instrumental to the success
of this shawl but may impact the finished size and yardage required
for your piece. Yardage has been slightly over estimated to account for
swatching and variation in gauge.

I have a non-crafty day job, but in my off time, I am an independent knitting pattern designer, Production Assistant at http://twistcollective.com and all purpose crafty person. Over the past year, I've taken up sewing in earnest and am doing my best to get gooder at it. It's going wellishly.
