Pattern Description:

This pattern is one, that I designed, for those of you who are art yarn lovers, or spinners, who wonder, just what you can do with a small amount of it!
This sweet hat features gentle ribbing, for fit, and a fun, butterfly clip!

The Flutterby pattern takes all of the guesswork out of working with your super bulky, art yarn!
Art yarn spinners will give you the Wraps per inch, for their yarns, but if you are in doubt, or have some yarn, you aren't sure about, you can simply knit up a swatch, and match the gauge.
(Yarn resources include shops from the U.S., Canada, U.K., Italy and Germany)

This hat is for use under direct adult supervision.

Thank you so much, to Hannah Hilliard, for her lovely photos! If you are in Indiana, you might want to visit her! You can check her out, at:

I have always been inspired, by hand knit items, but it seemed beyond reach, for me...until I took some knitting classes!
From there, it became my relaxation, and creative outlet!
My passion is designing, and I love to spin my own yarns, as well!
I love to see the finished product, on the baby models....
