Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, decrease, increase, basic crochet

Pattern Description:

Want a little warmth for your neck without the bulk of a big scarf? This little neck warmer will stay in place with no fuss . To wear it you simply slip one end of the scarf into the keyhole at the other end. The keyhole is embellished with a pretty crocheted rose.

The scarf is appropriate for a knitter with average skills or an adventurous beginner. Most of the scarf is easy but a beginner may have a little difficulty with the key hole though I have tried to give very simple instructions.

Basic crochet skills are also needed to make the rose embellishment.

About 4.5 stitches to an inch but exact gauge is not important.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 30 inches long

  • worsted weight yarn, one skein, size 8 straight needles, size 8 circular needle, size I crochet hook

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Worsted weight
