This reversible shoulder wrap is designed to be
simple in its patterning so that it can really show
of the beauty of hand-dyed yarn with a soft halo.
Usually, when you have handdyed, variegated and/
or sparkly yarn, you do not want to select a pattern
with lots of busy details, which often seem to get
lost in variegated yarns and vice versa.
This wrap is constructed from end-to-end with a
loop that acts as a clasp to hold the wrap in place.
It is joined while working the body of the wrap. The
"tail" end of the wrap is shaped asymmetrically for
additional interest.
Sample worked in Size S using 2 skeins Red Barn Yarns Llama Sparkle (125g, 273yds); Color: Carribean. Photos show garment worn with both the Stockinette and reverse Stockinette sides facing.
14 sts and 17 rows = 4.5"/ 11.5cm wide and 4"/ 10cm tall in pattern stitch

While knitting is my dominant craft now, I've always been a crafter and sewer. I used to make my own clothes in high school and made jewelry. Two years ago, I got a bit into silversmithing as well.
I'm CraftyDiversions on Ravelry and I also have a Crafty Diversions Facebook fan page. You can get my hardcopy patterns from your local yarn stores. My digital patterns can be found on Craftsy, Ravelry and my own website (where I have a few patterns that I don't sell anywhere else). www.craftydiversions.com
