Pattern Description:

The First Frost Cap is a classic lightweight cap that is knit in the round from the brim to the top in fingering weight 4-ply wool. With four traditional motifs to choose from and endless color combinations, First Frost Cap is the perfect complement to the First Frost Mittens.

Yarn: Fingering Weight (4-ply) wool in 2 or more (Main Color - 180 yards, Contrasting Color - 40 yards)
Gauge: 8 stitches x 9 rows = 1 inch
Sizes: small (large)
Finished Circumference: Small: 18.5 inches, Large: 20.5 inches
Needles: Double Pointed Needles in Size 3 (3.25mm)
Notions: Stitch Markers (5-6) and a Tapestry Needle
