Fay is an easy-to-work shawl with a wavy border that is worked at the same time as the shawl body. It's a great lightweight accessory for almost
every season.
This shawl is worked from side-to-side, as you would if working a scarf. The main body is worked in Stockinette stitch while the bottom border has an easy-to-memorize lace pattern that is worked along with the body. There is no picking up of stitches or sewing on for the border.
There are 3 size depth options: Shallow (deep, very deep)
18.5 sts and 21rows = 4"/ 10cm in St st.

While knitting is my dominant craft now, I've always been a crafter and sewer. I used to make my own clothes in high school and made jewelry. Two years ago, I got a bit into silversmithing as well.
I'm CraftyDiversions on Ravelry and I also have a Crafty Diversions Facebook fan page. You can get my hardcopy patterns from your local yarn stores. My digital patterns can be found on Craftsy, Ravelry and my own website (where I have a few patterns that I don't sell anywhere else). www.craftydiversions.com
