Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Working in the round, knit, purl, decreases, increases

Pattern Description:

This unisex hat takes advantage of a vintage textured stitch pattern with attractive right and wrong sides. It alternates between the dot (right side) & reverse dot (wrong side) stitch patterns to add textured stripes.

Work either the snugger-fitting beanie or the slouch. Shown in Women's beanie.

Make the ribbing 31/2in / 9cm if you'd like to have a folded brim; rather than working [k2, p1], work [p2, k1] so that the 2x1 rib shows once folded.
