Fantasia - A thing that is composed of a mixture of different forms or styles.
The Fantasia shawl was originally released as a mystery knit-a-long. It has 4 distinct sections in the pattern. Each section is fully written out and charted.
The pattern is written for 2 sizes. The smaller size (61" wingspan) required 400 yards of fingering weight yarn. The larger size (91" wingspan) uses 650 yards f fingering weight yarn.
Design begins with a provisional cast on. It is worked from the center of the wingspan out and down toward the longest row.
