Pattern Description:
Starting with a bit of i-cord (instructions included for working i-cord), this lacy beret is knit from the top down based upon the principle of Pi as described by Elizabeth Zimmermann in Knitter's Almanac using a Miniature Leaf lace pattern adapted from Barbara Walker's A Treasury of Knitting Patterns.
Gauge:
12 stitches x 16 rows = 4" in miniature leaf lace pattern
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Adult Medium, 22-inch head circumference, 12-inch diameter
Materials:
- 100 yds sport weight yarn
- US6 double-pointed needles
- US10 double-pointed needles
- US10 24-inch circular needle
