The inspiration for this pattern came from an unused Lord of the Rings drawing of a shield for Eomer. This complex-looking tam is not as hard as it looks! A quick, yet fun and challenging knit for intermediate knitters.
Full color pictures, charts and written instructions will guide you through each step. The techniques in the pattern include 3 colors per row, colorworked cables, corrugated ribbing and stranded motifs.
Yarn requirements: less than a skein each of 7 coordinating colors.
Different sizes can be achieved using different needle sizes, and differing weights of yarn.
