Many knitters shy away from entrelac projects because they "looks hard". Once you complete this project you'll see how easy it really is! I designed this pattern as an introduction to Entrelac knitting for students at my LYS. With the beginning knitter in mind, it simplifies the process by using only one color and working in the round to reduce yarn tails. If you can cast on, knit, purl, and bind off, you can make this cowl! If a solid color bores you, try using a nice hand-painted yarn to get color variation without changing yarns.

I retired from teaching several years ago to help my daughter with daycare. Her 3 boys keep me busy during the day but my nights are all mine! I enjoy teaching knitting at my LYS and designing knitwear. You can find me on Ravelry as onlygrandsons.
