Pattern Description:

This has been the most popular pattern in the Knitability line and was featured as a kit for many seasons. For the first time, it is now available as a download! Our pattern now includes two sizes - the full size knapsack and the smaller pouch - perfect for learning the entrelac technique.

Color combinations are practical endless. And with only needing 25 yds per tier for the pouch and 60 yds per tier for the knapsack, it can be a great stash-buster as well. They make great gifts and are a wonderful way to share your knitting skills with friends and family!

Gauge:

18 sts and 28 rows = 4" in Stockinette BEFORE felting.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Pouch - 5" in diameter by 7" tall
  • Knapsack - 12" in diameter by 18 " tall

Materials:

  • 300 - 725 total yds of non-washable wool (needs to felt) in 2 - 6 colors
  • 5.5 mm (US #9) circular needles 16" - 20"
  • 2 yds of 1" nylon webbing (Knapsack Only)
  • 1 pkg of Extra Large Grommets (Knapsack Only)
