Basic Skills Necessary:

  • st st = knit 1 row then purl 1 row (this makes 2 rows)
  • Inc = make a stitch by knitting into the front and then into the back of one stitch.
  • k2tog -knit the following 2 stitches together as 1 stitch.

Pattern Description:

This Beautiful curvy felted bag is big enough for everyday use, and tough enough too!
I have written this pattern in 2 versions-
Circular ( in the round) or Flat ( 2 needles stocking stitch) so you can choose which method you prefer.

Gauge:

11sts x 16 rows = 10cm (4") st.st. square

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Felted Size 32cm (12.5") high 30cm (12") wide
  • 2 Options for approx strap length Standard shoulder strap 102cm (40") Longer across body strap 140cm (55")

Materials:

  • Knitting Needles 8mm (US 11)

You Will Also Need:

  • Button or sew on snap fastener
  • Stitch markers ( loops of coloured wool or small hair elastics)

350 meters of Worsted weight
