Scarflettes are a quick knit and make fun gifts. They are great for cold weather to keep necks toasty warm without the bulk of a long scarf.
For this pattern, you will need to know the knit stitch and purl stitch. Although it is fairly simple, the result will be stunning!
The pattern consists of 4 repeating rows and it is recommended that you keep track of each row by using a row counter.
Sizing can be altered by using different weight yarn and changing the size of the knitting needles. Following the pattern below will create a scarflette that measures approximately 5.5 inches wide and 20 inches long.
This pattern can also be modified to make a full length scarf, simply continue to knit to desired length and do not add buttons. Be sure to purchase extra yarn!
Yarn used in this pattern: 2 strands of Pattons Classic Wool - Worsted Weight (Yarn Symbol # 4)
I've been knitting all my life and currently spend most of my waking hours thinking about new ways to knit classic accessories. I love to spin my own yarn, learn new knitting techniques and get creative with felted wool.
