This charming hat is reminiscent of the 1920's and reminded me of a picture of my grandmother when she was in her late teens, and is named for her.
This easy-to-make design begins with a provisional cast-on and is worked circularly from the picot-edged brim to the top of the hat. The crocheted flower and the leaf-ended I-cord embellishments are worked separately and then sewn to the hat.
Pattern includes a link to an online video tutorial for the provisional cast-on.

After 20 years of working in music and worship arts, I have had the joy of spending the last six years teaching and encouraging knitters, as well as designing knitwear.
I am hopelessly addicted to making beautiful, colorful things.
