Pattern Description:

Make an entrance with Dolores. This generous lace wrap is beautiful and feminine. It keeps you warm and complements your most elegant outfit. The ruffled edge adds a dramatic touch. Wrapped in Dolores, you won't go unnoticed!
The rectangular central lace panel is knitted first from end to end. Both charted and written instructions are provided. Then stitches are picked up on all edges and the short row ruffled border is knitted sideways.


14 sts and 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in pattern after blocking.
Gauge is not critical for this project, but keep in mind that the finished measurements and yarn amounts are based on the stated gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Central panel measures 64 x 14" [163 x 36 cm].
  • The complete wrap measures approximately 68 x 18" [170 x 46 cm].


  • 6 skeins of Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70 % wool, 30 % silk) - 150 yd/135 m per 1.76 oz/50 g, in Wildflower.
  • You can substitute with 900 yd / 823 m of any DK weight yarn (CYCA3).

You Will Also Need:

  • US size 10 [6 mm] double pointed needles (or size to obtain correct gauge)
  • US size 10 [6 mm] knitting needles (or size to obtain correct gauge)
  • waste yarn for provisional cast-on
  • crochet hook size J/10 [6mm] for provisional cast-on

Suggested yarn:

900 yards of DK weight
