Pattern Description:

One of the first knitted gifts I ever made was a lace scarf for my mum. She loved it and wore it many times over that winter and requested a hat to match. Sadly, within a couple of months of her request we found out she had pancreatic cancer and she died aged 59, just two weeks later. I am dedicating this pattern in her memory and to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in the hope that one day a cure can be found for this terrible disease.
I have named this pattern after mum's favourite flower which comes from the greek word for divine, as does her name. Knitted in fingering or aran weight yarn, feel divine with this easy to knit lace pattern hat which uses gorgeously soft and warm angora or mohair yarn.
All profits from the sale of this pattern will go to PCUK so thank you very much for your purchase.
Instructions are given for both yarn weights with the aran size in () brackets. Pictures show hat in Orkney Angora Incredible Angora 100% colour way Ruby (fingering weight) and Sirdar Blur colour way Sigh (aran weight).
