Pattern Description:

Make a pair of mitts that have a unique slipped st pattern on them. These mitts are very versatile as they can be worn with the ribbing either on the top or the bottom. This project knits up quick; one pair can easily be made in one afternoon.


28 sts and 38 rows = 4 in (10 cm) diamond weave pat st.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Extra-Small (fits wrist about 5 inches/13 cm around)
  • Small (fits wrist about 6 inches/15 cm around)
  • Medium (fits wrist about 7 inches/18 cm around)
  • Large (fits wrist about 8 inches/20 cm around)


  • a pair of straight knitting needles - size US 7 (4mm) (or size to obtain gauge)

You Will Also Need:

  • row counter

Suggested yarn:

65 yards of Worsted weight
