Traditional suit patterns become bold and modern when enlarged. The different patterns included let you avoid second mitt syndrome by making mis-matched mitts if you're feeling funky.
This pattern was designed to introduce basic intarsia techniques. The knitter has a choice of when to move to the next level of complexity.
These mitts are knit flat and seamed at the end. The colorwork is charted.

All my life I have been a maker and used my hands to create. Knitting was one of the earliest crafts I was taught. I was four when my mother showed me the basics. I have grown to love knitting for it's variety - it can be simple and meditative, geometric and challenging, sculptural, fashionable, or any and all of the above in the same garment at different stages.
