Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, Read Chart. Basic colorwork

Pattern Description:

Desert Sunset knits the beauty of the American Southwest. Again, as with some of my other landscape designs, you are free to make your cacti grow uniquely. Make your clouds and sunset flow as you will. The chart serves as a guideline. You are the artist! Colors rule in this great hat.


32 sts and 32 rounds = 4 inches


  • 1 ball each of KnitPicks Palette: Black, Orange, Mai Tai Heather, Bluebell, Silver, Aster and a small amount of White. One 16" #3 circular needle, four #3 DPNs (or size needed to obtain gauge), stitch marker, and tapestry needle
