Pattern Description:

Take three balls of variegated green soft 50% wool, 50% acrylic. Add a gossamer lace knitting stitch originating in the Shetland Islands in the 19th century. What do you have? A sophisticated, stylish scarf that looks like woolen malachite. Add three buttons at one end. Voila! You can now wear it in a variety of ways - looped and long, double looped in a cowl style, or wrapped around your neck like a normal scarf.


10cm x 10 cm (4 inches x 4 inches) - 20 stitches x 25 rows.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 19 centimetres x 185.5 centimetres (7 1/2 inches x 73 inches)


  • 3 balls Moda Vera Harmony Print 10ply in Colour Number 45 - Olive Green 5.5mm (USA 9) knitting needles yarn needle for weaving in ends 3 x 2cm / 3/4 inch buttons to match
