i hate to leave bits of yarn leftover. i collected 3 yarns that look great together and came up with these cute little mitts. all garter stitch. knit flat (though you could easily do this in the round) and seamed. just a thumbhole. simple and quick.
yardage is a guess. i went by the weight since i was using scraps from the stash
24g/.08oz aracaunia nature wool in pink
28g/10oz madelinetosh tosh sport in opaline
36g/1.2oz cascade 220 sport in grey
11sts x 22 rows = 2 inches in garter stitch (unblocked)
7.5 x 8.5 inches
11sts x 22sts = 2 inches in garter stitch (unblocked and worked flat)
200 yards of Sport weight
