Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

I love using elongated stitches and wanted to design a pattern using a combination of elongated stitches to create a lazy look.

The crescent shaped shawl is shaped using Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pi formula.

This shawl comes in a choice of 2 sizes with row by row instructions.

Using 4mmUS6 ndls, work 20 sts & 44 rows in garter stitch to measure 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 in.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Small: Length: 40 cm /16 in centre back Inner crescent (top of shawlette) : 111 cm/43.5 in
  • Large: Length: 58 cm/23 in centre back Inner crescent (top of shawlette): 176 cm/69.5 in

  • 1, (2) skeins (400m/800m or 440 yds/880yds) sock yarn
  • 30 gr size 6 seed beads

You Will Also Need:

  • 4mm/US 6 circular needle
