Knit, Purl, Increasing, Decreasing, knitting in the round, seaming, YO.
Each cupcake takes very small amounts of yarn, so this project would be an excellent stash buster. The pattern includes instructions for how to make both cherries and strawberries.
The cupcake bottoms are knit flat on straight needles, and the frosting pieces are knit in the round on DPN's. Unlike most of my other patterns, this one does contain a lot of pieces that need to be assembled at the end, but all of the seaming is very simple, and the pattern includes a lot of photo tutorials at the end to help you out.
