"Two things I am often looking for with sock patterns are if they work well with both semi-solid and variegated yarns and if they are easy to adjust to sport weight yarns. I love my variegated yarns and I love my sport weight yarns. This simple lace pattern has both qualities!
I named these socks after my great-aunt Cotty. When I first learned to knit she requested just one thing...a pink lace cashmere scarf. She loved all things lace and cashmere! She passed away two years ago, before I had truly fallen for both sock knitting and cashmere. I think she would have loved these, and would have requested a pair in pink for her birthday in May."
