Pattern Description:
Adorable booties for a baby girl made in a very soft cotton yarn. I invented my own "Berry" stitch for these booties.
The sole and the ribbing are made in cotton/elastic yarn.
Made flat on two needles and sewn at the back.
The green leaves are crocheted along the ribbing border. The flower is also crocheted.
Gauge:
~5.3 sts per 1"
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 3-6, 6-12 months
Materials:
- Materials: *1 ball of Ella Rae Milky Soft Yarn ( 50% cotton, 50% milk protein fiber) in red color 91226 * a small amount of Elann.com Esprit cotton/elastic yarn in Jade ( color #5382) * a small amount of Elann.com Esprit cotton/elastic yarn in Opulent white (color # 8002) or any other white yarn for the flowers * a small amount of yellow yarn to attach the flowers to the booties ! You can use any sport weight or DK weight yarn to obtain the gauge in the pattern
You Will Also Need:
- * U.S. #4 or needle to obtain the gauge for "My berry" pattern * U.S. #5 straight single-?pointed needles for the ribbing *3.25 mm crochet hook * a tapestry needle
