Pattern Description:

This sweet treat is knit in a tiered tuck and lace pattern. It has ties that cinch to create gathers that can be worn to the side or to the back. The hat is meant to fit loosely and is worked in a luxurious blend of merino/ alpaca/silk that will keep you warm all winter long. The pattern comes in a full size range from Baby to Adult Large. The hat can be finished in no time and makes a gorgeous accessory to give away or keep for yourself.

The hat is shown in size Adult S.

Gauge:

18 sts and 34 rows = 4" (10 cm) in St st on #6 (4.0 mm) needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Baby [Child, Adult S, M, L] to fit head circumference: 17.25 [19, 21, 22.5, 24.5]" (44 [48.5, 53.5, 57, 62] cm)

Materials:

  • US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles, 16", or size required to obtain gauge
  • US 6 (4.0 mm) DPNs, or size required to obtain gauge
  • US H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
