Basic Skills Necessary:

  • stranded knitting with at most two colors in one round

Pattern Description:

A simple but colo(ur)ful pattern for dull days.
The gore thumb has a kind of brick pattern.

Enjoy and happy knitting!


Knitting gauge: 8 stitches and 9 rows in an inch.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Measurement: width 10 cm (about 20 cms hand circumreference) These mitts fit size S/M.
  • For bigger sizes go up one or two needle sizes


  • You need: 40 g of black 4-ply sock yarn 30 g of jeans blue 4-ply sock yarn 15 - 20 g of yellow, red, dark red, violett and green 4-ply sock yarn each
  • 5 double pointed needles size 3.0 mm. 1 circular needle of 3.0 mms for parking the thumb stitches.

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends

Suggested yarn:

230 yards of Fingering weight
