  • long tail cast on, yarn held double, knit stitch, purl stitch, bind off, sew seam, weave in ends

Pattern Description:

A stylish, chunky cowl as soft as a wisp of a cloud. The textured infinity scarf can be worn in a number of ways, including as a hood. Dress up or down for a versatile fall / winter wardrobe staple.


6 stitches in width and 9 rows in height per 4" (10cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size. The cowl is one size, approximately 10" (25cm) in width and 68" (173cm) in circumference. The fabric is nice and stretchy and can be worn in a variety of ways.


  • US 19 (15.0mm) needles
  • Bernat Roving (360 yards / 330 metres; 3.5oz / 100g), 3 skeins in white colourway; or
  • Garnstudio DROPS Eskimo (324 yards / 294 metres; 1.8oz / 50g), 6 skeins in white colourway; or
  • Substitute yarn that meets gauge requirements

You Will Also Need:

  • crochet hook or tapestry needle for weaving in ends
