I am one of 2 sisters who share a love of knitting, dark chocolate and fine wine, not necessarily in that order, and often all at the same time! My knitwear name is Bellsistersusan (formerly Bellsisterdong) - born out of a hilarious mishap at Stitches West one year. You can read all about it on Ravelry.com under the profile of Bellsistersusan.View all patterns by designer (9) »
This hat will make you look like an accomplished knitter! A beautiful but easy 'faux' cable brim starts the detailing off and does not require cabling experience or a cable needle! The body is a simple stockinette stitch alternated with a purl in contasting color. The flower can be done 2 ways: stockinette stitch or garter - and either attached permanently or removed to wear on clothing or handbag!
Pattern updated 2/21/12 to reflect TWO versions now: the original DK weight and the new worsted weight with size 8 needles for a fast knit-up!!!
Now partnering with Jimmy Beans Wool and their Stitch Red campaign to raise awareness of women's heart health issues...5% of every pattern sales goes towards their campaign! Check them out...them are partnering with NIH!
