Pattern Description:

Christmas trees on a cozy scarf knit with a blend of cashmere (50%), silk (25%) and merino wool (25%). A versatile and sophisticated classic to wear throughout the Holiday season - as an ascot, with the ends hanging loose, or anyway you'd like - this scarf reduces bulk by having the neck portion ribbed on fewer sts than the Christmas-tree Lace portion.

5sts x 7 rows = 1" stockinette (blocked)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 24"; 6-1/2 inches wide at ends; 2-1/2 inches at neck portion


  • approx 145 yards of cashmere/merino/silk fingering weight fiber (sample used Spring Gate Farm's blend)
  • US #7 needles
  • stitch markers
  • tapestry needle to tuck in ends
  • lace pins/blocking wires/blocking boards
