Pattern Description:
This hat is worked in the round and then flipped inside out & seamed with a three needle bind off to form a rectangular shape. Checkers are worked Fair Isle using different colors and textures. Sizing implies stretching, size up if you prefer a looser fitting cap.
Gauge:
20 stitches and 28 rows per 4 inches in stockinette
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Finished Circumference: 13(14.5, 16, 17.5, 19) inches
- Size: Newborn(0-6 months, 6-12 months, Toddler/Child, Adult Woman)
Materials:
- 3 colors of worsted or aran weight yarn; 45(50, 55, 60, 65) yards Main Color (MC), 40(45, 50, 55, 60) yards Contrast 1(CC1) and 40(45, 50, 55, 60) yards Contrast 2(CC2)
You Will Also Need:
- Size 7 (4.5mm) 16" circular needles and set of DPNs, stitch marker
