Charmed Charmed

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cast on, bind off, decreases, slipped sts, yarn overs

Pattern Description:

Buttons are always fun to add to hats, but have you thought about adding some charms? I have to admit that it's rather unique to have something dangling from the side of the hat!

This hat has a lovely pattern of lacey squares which is perfect for the intermediate knitter or those who are ready for the next level.

Add your favorite charm and you have one very "charming" hat!


5 sts and 6 rnds = 1" in lace pattern worked in the rnd on larger needle, before being stretched.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To fit head circumference of 21 - 22"


  • U.S. size 5 and 6, 16" circular needles
  • U.S. size 6, dp needles

  • One Charm
  • One 12m lobster clasp with tab
