Pattern Description:
A cute caterpillar to wrap around your neck - for kids and the young at heart!
Easy to make. Pattern in red and green but it ooks great in any colour - how about a rainbow caterpillar...?
Gauge:
18 sts, 34 rows on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles in garter
stitch (knit every row) and 8 ply yarn = 10 cm
square.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Approx 80 cm long from head to tail, 13 cms wide at middle of body (make it longer if you wish)
Materials:
- 8 ply / DK yarn: red x 20 gms for head and feet, light green x 40 gms, dark green x 20 gms
- 1 pr 4.5 mm (US 7) needles
- 2 double pointed needles size 3.75 mm (US 5) or 3.5 mm (US 4)
You Will Also Need:
- a pair of 18 mm sew-on "joggle" eyes
