Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Long Tail CO, knit, purl, knitting in the round, Knit in the front & back of a stitch, K2tog, and how to use double pointed needles

Pattern Description:

This hat as part of my Simply Pretty Series. This is
based on my Cassidy's Cap but with more fullness for a
great looking, simple beret. Named for my friend who
awed, raved, begged, cajoled, and nagged me for this
pattern. I hope you enjoy knitting them as much as I
do.

Gauge:

20 st & 24 rows = 4"/10cm
in Stockinette stitch in the round

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To Fit Head Size
  • 15 1/2 (17 1/4, 19, 20 1/2)'' around

Materials:

  • 200 yards of Worsted weight yarn
  • US7 / 4.5 mm 16" circular needle and set of double points
  • or size needed to get gauge.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 orange st marker to mark beginning of the round
  • 7 green st markers
  • large eye needle to weave in ends
