The Cassia Winter Frost Papoose Sleepsack is the final addition to my seasonal sleep sets (for other seasons see; Ellerie, Alani, and Becca).
The Cassia has large cabled wintery trees and snowflakes on the body, and giant snowflakes on the top and bottom. It is made with bulky yarn and is super warm and snuggly - perfect for the newest winter baby in your life!
If you use the suggested yarn, you will need about 2.5 skeins. It is shown in Rice Paper (the white one) and Low Tide (the bluish one).
The pattern includes complete written instructions and a complete chart.
6 stitches x 8 rows = 2 inches in Reverse stockinette (purl stitch) in the round
340 yards of Bulky weight
I taught myself to knit in 2005 and began designing in 2010. I love thinking up a shape or wacky concept and then figuring out how to make it into a functional, beautiful, three-dimensional object!
