I first learned to knit about 12 years ago from my mother. I have been knitting seriously for about 6 years. I mostly enjoy knitting small things and I'm continuously inspired by my 2 year old daughter. I have been designing for about 2 years and I also crochet and sew some. You can follow the latest projects of me and my mom at artsintertwined.com. You can see my other artwork at willagoldthwaite.com. I'm looking forward to learning and finding inspiration here on craftsy. Hopefully I can inspire you, too! Feel free to e-mail me with any questions about my patterns.View all patterns by designer (5) »
This is a great first project for beginner knitters and a way to become comfortable knitting in the round on double-pointed needles (before you dive into knitting a pair of socks). This is a basic and easily-altered pattern for a classic-style fingerless glove that is hip and functional for the touch-screen user. I've suggested a superwash merino cashmere which I think adds a touch of luxury to the 'bum' look. Hope you enjoy!
