I am originally from Switzerland, but live in the US since ‘99. I have been knitting since I was about five years old and I mostly make my own designs and patterns. I started designing my own sweaters and accessories (more or less successfully) at an early age, as that was just the way sweaters where done. Only later did I transition to indulging in the luxury of ready-made patterns.
During the other hours of my day I am a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach and I blog about healthy food and lifestyle.
I used to design and make mostly sweaters and other cold weather favs, (I did come from a snowy place, after all) but lately I have been on a lace shawl kick and just can't seem to stop!
You can see more of my designs under OwlCat Designs on Ravelry.
Thanks for your interest in my patterns and I hope you enjoy knitting the designs as much as I did making them for you!
In my other life, I am a personal trainer, and I am frequently asked how to choose healthier meals and steer clients towards healthier snacks. Well, here is something you can indulge in, without worry you'll wear it on your hips! Wrap your shoulders in this soft lace shawl, full of healthy fiber, and virtually calorie and therefore guilt free!
Carrot Cake works up into a treat you won't want to miss.
And you don't have to, it's all trainer approved!
This top down triangular/faroese hybrid lace shawl will look flattering; no matter what time of year or what color you choose.
