Cannonfire socks is a pattern by Katya Frankel from Head to Toe: Kids' Knit Accessories.

Worked from the cuff down with a simple colorwork pattern through the sock's leg and a band of colorwork around the toe.


36 sts and 40 rnds = 4 in / 10cm in St st and in pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished foot circumference 51/2 (6, 61/2, 7, 73/4) in / 14 (15, 16.5, 18, 19.5) cm. Shown in size 6 in.


  • 1 skein of each Cascade Yarns Heritage (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon; 437 yds/400m per 100g skein); #5631 grey (MC) and #5662 red (CC). US #2 (2.75mm) set of dpns.

You Will Also Need:

  • Stitch markers, yarn needle.

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Fingering weight
