I will donate $1.25 for each pattern sold to the American Cancer Society in support of the Racey Ladies and Dashing Dudes team in the McKinney, TX Relay for Life. As of 16 February 2014, I have donated $7.50.
This earwarmer is quick to knit and can be embellished any way you want. It is worked flat and then seamed together in the back. Rows are knit across the long dimension, and short rows are added in the center to create extra width.
Stashbuster alert - this pattern uses less than 100 yards of worsted weight yarn. You have that lying around already, right?
The finished circumference is 18", and it will stretch to fit most adults.
I designed this earwarmer to help my friend Paula and her team in the McKinney, TX Relay for Life, benefitting the American Cancer Society. They will be adding ribbons, patches and pins to jazz them up and sell as a team fundraiser.

I've crocheted just about my whole life. I taught myself to knit in the early 2000s and haven't slowed down since. I've also gone through counted cross-stitch and needlepoint periods.
I almost always modify knitting patterns I like, so about a year ago I started designing and publishing my own patterns.
All of the patterns that I sell have been tech edited and test knit before release.
