Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and purl stitches
  • Cable Knitting
  • Knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

This snug fitting case has an attractive cable pattern on the front and will help to protect your ipad from scratches.

They are pretty easy to knit, you need to know basic knit and purl stitches and be able to knit in the round.


18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stocking Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Fits iPad 3, iPad 2 or any other device measuring approx: 9.5" x 7.3" x 0.4" (24cm x 18.5cm x 0.9cm)


  • 100-150yds aran/worsted weight yarn
  • Set of 4 double pointed needles in size US 8 (5mm)
  • Cable needle
  • Tapestry needle

Suggested yarn:

150 yards of Worsted weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Sirdar Supersoft Aran
