Cabled Fingerless Mitts

from Knitamazoo Fiber Arts
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Cabled Fingerless Mitts
Cabled Fingerless Mitts

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and purl
  • Cables
  • 2 Circular method of knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

My hands get cold easily. Typing at my computer, playing the piano, even while knitting or crocheting. I like to have my fingers free to "do" things. That is why I designed these warm, fingerless mitts. They are knit at a slightly tighter gauge than would normally be worked for worsted weight yarn, making them quite warm. They work up fairly quickly and make wonderful gifts!
