Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Provisional Cast-On is recommended but not necessary
  • Basic Cabling (instructions are included within the pattern)

Pattern Description:

This cozy cabled headband will keep you warm all winter. It`s a fun and easy knitting pattern to keep your hands busy on those nights when it`s just too chilly to venture outside!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 24.5" around (can be shortened or lengthened)
  • 2.5" wide
  • 0.5" thick


  • 1 pair 7mm knitting needles
  • 1 cabling needle or 1 double pointed knitting needle
  • 1 piece scrap yarn ~8" long (if using provisional cast-on)
  • ~55 yds of yarn in correct gauge (e.g. Lamb's Pride Bulky)

Suggested yarn:

55 yards of Bulky weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Lamb's Pride Bulky (85% wool, 15% mohair)
