Pattern Description:

This gorgeously soft indulgent cowl was inspired by the geometric motifs and colors present in Middle Eastern architecture. Wear it with either side showing; it's completely reversible.
If you'd like a cowl with a larger circumference, increase in repeats of 42 sts (which works out to be about 5.5"/14cm) and increase your yarn requirements proportionately.
Guidelines (pink lines) are shown on the larger chart (Chart 1) to assist with stitch counts and patterning.

Gauge:

28 sts & 36 rounds = 4"/10cm in stranded stockinette on US3/3.25mm needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One Size. Finished Measurements: Circumference: 24"/61cm; Height: 8"/20.5cm

Materials:

  • Dragonfly Fibers Soft Twist Djinni, 80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere, 430 yds/113gm, in the following amounts and colors: (A) Burnished Brass, 305 yds/279m; (B) Peacock Feather, 165 yds/151m; (C) Reflecting Pool, 85 yds/78m
  • US3 / 3.25mm 20" circular needles or size to obtain gauge. US2.5 / 3.0mm 20" circular needles

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle, stitch markers (at least one, more if desired), waste yarn for provisional cast on

Suggested yarn:

555 yards of Fingering weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Soft Twist Djinni or any soft fingering weight yarn
